Indipendentemente dal tipo di molino e di impianto, grazie ad un miglior controllo nelle operazioni di trasporto del cemento durante le diverse fasi del processo, la tecnologia può superare i potenziali “colli di bottiglia” che derivano da limiti intrinseci delle apparecchiature, agevolando in modo concreto le aziende a produrre cemento di alta qualità e riducendo al contempo i costi di produzione. Grazie alla tecnologia ICARE, l’aumento delle resistenze a compressione può essere convertito in una diminuzione dei punti clinker a favore di altri costituenti più ecosostenibili, garantendo una netta diminuzione dei costi energetici e di emissioni di CO2.

La tecnologia Chryso ICARE è disponibile in due nuove gamme di incrementatori di resistenze studiati per superare specifici limiti di processo: Chryso ICARE VRM (Vertical Roller Mill, destinato ai molini verticali ed Horomill) e Chryso ICARE CP (Challenges Process, destinato ai molini a sfere). Nel primo caso, gli additivi garantiscono una migliore stabilità nel processo di macinazione con effetti positivi sulla qualità dei cementi ed incrementi delle resistenze a tutte le stagionature. Nel secondo caso, invece, gli additivi superano i limiti di alcune apparecchiature/parti del processo di macinazione e massimizzano il potenziale di attivazione del cemento, garantendo una migliore distribuzione granulometrica del materiale. E ancora, a farla da padrone sarà anche il trend delle “Net-Zero Emissions”, ovvero l’impatto zero del carbonio: secondo il rapporto Bringing embodied carbon upfront pubblicato su Automative World, infatti, tutti i nuovi edifici, le infrastrutture e le riqualificazioni emetteranno il 40% in meno di CO2 incorporata entro il 2050. Ma non è tutto, perché a cambiare saranno anche gli spazi interni degli uffici che, secondo una recente ricerca pubblicata dalla BBC, verranno ampliati in termini di larghezza, focalizzandosi su stanze igienizzate e adibite al co-working, e avanzati servizi di automatizzazione.

Ogni Paese dell’UE ha recepito le direttive europee e definito criteri e requisiti per la realizzazione di questi edifici a basso impatto ambientale.

In seguito alla crisi energetica verificatasi negli anni ’70, si è definito sempre più il concetto di sviluppo sostenibile nell’edilizia e si è diffusa la sensibilità al tema del risparmio energetico. Da quel periodo ad oggi la strada percorsa a livello normativo è stata moltissima, tanto che si è arrivati all’obbligo di costruire, a partire dal 2021, solo edifici a energia quasi zero.

 

Definizione del termine NZEB

NZEB è l’acronimo dell’inglese Nearly Zero Energy Building, che tradotto letteralmente in italiano significa edifici a energia quasi zero.

Un edificio a energia quasi zero ha prestazioni elevatissime, che riduce il più possibile i consumi di energia per il suo funzionamento e l’impatto nocivo nei confronti dell’ambiente. In pratica, un edificio NZEB ha una domanda energetica per riscaldamento, raffrescamento, ventilazione e produzione di acqua calda sanitaria vicina allo zero. L’efficientamento energetico non riguarda solo gli edifici di nuova costruzione: anche un edificio in edilizia tradizionale può essere trasformato in un edificio NZEB!

Il termine NZEB è stato utilizzato per la prima volta nel pacchetto di direttive europee EPBD (Energy Performance Building Directions) del 2010: dal rilascio del pacchetto, gli stati membri dell’Unione hanno dovuto impegnarsi nell’introduzione di normative nazionali volte alla promozione di un’edilizia più efficiente a livello energetico.

Le direttive specificano il termine ultimo, fissato al 2021 per l’edilizia privata e al 2018 per quella pubblica, entro il quale tutti gli edifici di nuova costruzione dovranno essere NZEB. Le direttive contengono la definizione di NZEB ma lasciano margine di manovra agli stati nell’individuazione delle caratteristiche che definiscono un edificio NZEB e nella sua realizzazione, per salvaguardare tradizioni e specificità locali.

In Italia la prima legge a regolare l’efficienza energetica degli edifici è il D.lgs. 192/2005, successivamente modificato dal Decreto Legge 63/2013 e divenuto legge 90/2013, con la quale sono state inserite delle integrazioni richieste dalle direttive EPBD. Con l’entrata in vigore del DM 26 giugno 2015, che definisce le caratteristiche che un edificio deve rispettare, dei requisiti prestazionali minimi, per essere un edificio a energia quasi zero, si è finalmente definito il quadro normativo degli edifici NZEB in Italia.

 

Come è fatto un edificio NZEB?

La costruzione di questa tipologia di edificio non è sottoposta ad una regola univoca: basta rispettare alcuni principi. Ad esempio, bisogna prestare massima attenzione al contesto climatico e ambientale: la forma, l’orientamento e la struttura dell’edificio vanno progettate in base all’irraggiamento, i venti, le temperature e gli ombreggiamenti.

Un edificio NZEB deve saper immagazzinare il calore in inverno ma saperlo rigettare in estate: per questo è opportuno garantire una buona ventilazione naturale, il raffrescamento passivo, una buona illuminazione naturale e fare in modo che le dispersioni siano ridotte allo zero.

Un edificio a energia quasi zero deve tenere conto delle stagioni: in inverno dovrà essere in grado di sfruttare al massimo la luce e il calore solari, in estate dovrà respingerli con un buon isolamento termico e sistemi di ombreggiamento efficienti.

L’energia necessaria al funzionamento dell’edificio può essere fornita da fonti rinnovabili; inoltre, il monitoraggio dei consumi e un sistema domotico permettono di raggiungere livelli di efficienta davvero molto alti.

 

Edifici NZEB in Italia

Nel nostro Paese è attivo un Osservatorio Nazionale degli Edifici a Energia Quasi Zero promosso da Enea, che ha lo scopo di censire e monitorare la costruzione di queste opere. Oltre ad avere uno spaccato sullo stato dell’arte, l’osservatorio vuole poter fornire agli esperti del settore una base di materiale utile alla costruzione di nuovi edifici, con informazioni, case study e procedure.

Si stima che attualmente in Italia esistano tra i 650 e gli 850 edifici NZEB, per lo più nel Nord Italia.

Un esempio di edificio residenziale a energia quasi zero è Casa sul Parco di Montanari Costruzioni S.r.l., realizzato a Fidenza (PR) e inaugurato nel 2018.

L’edificio non soltanto è green, ma anche esteticamente molto attraente: costruzioni di questo tipo non sono più appannaggio dei Paesi del Nord Europa, ma possono e devono essere realizzati anche in Italia!

Chiariamo innanzitutto la differenza fondamentale che intercorre tra le due tipologie di condizionatore: un climatizzatore tradizionale lavora a potenza erogata, cioè regola la temperatura attraverso l’accensione o lo spegnimento del compressore. Un condizionatore inverter, invece, lavora a potenza erogata variabile in funzione della temperatura dell’ambiente da raffreddare o riscaldare: ovvero, è in grado di modificare la potenza erogata.

Ma come funziona realmente in condizionatore inverter?

I sistemi inverter raggiungono molto velocemente la temperatura ambiente desiderata, con un consumo di energia elettrica decisamente ottimizzato: una volta raggiunta la temperatura ideale, infatti, il condizionatore inverter rallenta la velocità e funziona al minimo, mantenendo la temperatura impostata costante. Così facendo, non consuma energia per fermarsi e poi ripartire: i condizionatori inverter permettono un risparmio del 30% ogni 8 ore di utilizzo, rispetto a un climatizzatore tradizionale.

Gli inverter hanno una tecnologia “modulante” e funzionano tramite una centralina elettronica. Un climatizzatore inverter assicura un comfort maggiore, poiché la temperatura si mantiene costante con buona precisione.
