I believe a major thing MLB the show stubs that they need to fix is that the contract needs of players that hit free agency. It is all based on their own potential, overall, and age. Do not get me wrong, I believe that should definitely be factored in, but whenever you've got a livelihood 4.00 or 5.00 ERA starting pitcher needing $31.00 million a year, it is

somewhat ridiculous. It destroys the free agency market when you get several years into your own franchise. Somehow get it to where their prior years stats are factored into it also. Franchise wants a whole lot of tweaking in my opinion. I just feel like SDS is very idle with it. I really don't know how we've had great franchise modes in other games like Madden, 2k, and NHL, along with The Show is sooooo much behind them. So hopefully they realize they're behind in growth with these other matches and fix anything about it. I feel like were getting the same game every year with just as small as possible changed.

This is sort of off topic, however you mentioned that you've played 25+ franchise seasons through recent years. How can you do so? Like, what can you sim? Or do you play every pitch and each at-bat? I am a big franchise man using Madden and NHL, but with MLB I avoid it because the amount of matches seems daunting, but

simming too often takes me outside of the whole purpose.I MLB 19 Stubs have an issue with one of my player batting.320, 20 home runs, 150 hits, 25 stolen bases. However, his potential and overall are moving down?? I also dislike when a player asks for 10 mil contract then halfway through the year he's angry, and he wants 20mil and his overall is down due to morale.
