It’s easy to say that about most of the Instantfuns Pokemon Mega

If you don’t share in or even respect these admittedly inane beliefs of mine, when it comes to playing mega pokemon games, we all have our odd quirks that we think will give us just that little boost of extra luck. That’s especially true when it comes to Pokemon, a series that’s steeped in superstitious behavior.

This is a smart feature, or it would be, if Pokemon game players weren’t reporting that Pokemon Mega has a liberal definition of “extreme.” While we New Yorkers did experience some serious snow on Saturday, trainers from across the country shared images of their much milder weekend weather on Twitter. Pokemon Mega’s extreme weather pop-up appeared in their games all the same.

Raid Battles have become commonplace since their June launch, which further diminishes the need for extra planning time, according to some players. Without the eggs, Raid Bosses appeared immediately — and players had a full two hours to decide if they really wanted to take them on, and then prep if so.

The worst part is that certain online pokemon games, like Mewtwo, are only available through these EX Raid battles. If you don’t have an invite, you don’t get to have a complete Pokédex. Them’s the breaks.

Pokemon Mega’s upcoming Exclusive Raid Battle system is on its way to the game. Instantfuns announced this morning that a revamped version of the new feature, EX Raid Battles, will enter field testing soon.

Look at this cute moment between Ash, who’s gotten way sweeter now that he’s an 11-year-old. He takes Lillie out around Alola to cheer her up:

If you’re salty that Bulbasaur has yet to join the collection — which isn’t unfair, considering the other two first-gen starter Pokemon are on sale — hopefully the surprise release of Vulpix will make up for it. (Even if fire-type Pokemon and grass-type Pokemon are eternally at odds.)

It’s easy to say that about most of the Instantfuns PokemonMegain the Build-A-Bear Workshop collection, which also features faves like Pikachu, Charmander and the recently released Meowth. But Vulpix, the latest addition, is a surprising choice for the lineup. And since I felt lukewarm about 2016’s similarly quadrupedal Eevee, it’s fair to say that the idea of a Vulpix plush concerned me.
